SMS 66: Genesis 45:5

And now, do not be distressed and do not be angry with yourselves for selling me here, because it was to save lives that God sent me ahead of you.

When good things happen, we take glory in them as if they were our doing. When bad things come, we blame God. Not so with Joseph. He saw God’s hand in all the ‘misfortunes’ and injustice he suffered, and did his part: partaking and enduring in suffering in obedience to God’s plan and will.
