SMS 81: Leviticus 19:18 (June 18, 2013)

“Do not seek revenge or bear a grudge against a fellow Israelite, but love your neighbor as yourself. I am the Lord.” (NLT)

The phrase “I am the LORD” can be found 155 times in the bible – often attached to God’s introduction of himself, or a command to his people, or as a reminder of the glorious things he has done.

What does it mean to you for God to reiterate, “I am the LORD”?
